Sheffield Wednesday star Marvin Johnson has claimed that he’s not thinking about a new deal and will be trying his best for the football club.

Johnson was in the thick of the action once again on Friday night as the Owls lost 2-0 at home to Leeds.
He’s earned a reprieve under the new head coach and is now considered a regular in the Wednesday team.
His own performance was pretty good and after the game, he spoke candidly about his future.
It would appear that Johnson would like to stay with Sheffield Wednesday and he’s spoken about his future after Friday’s game.
He told The Star: “We just deal with it. I think that’s been the case for the last three years now, so we just get on with it.
“We can only keep trying to perform as individuals, we’re all fighting for a job, so I think that’s the next step in everyone’s mind, but obviously if we avoid relegation then it boosts everyone’s chances of a better contract anywhere – whether that be here or elsewhere. That is the main objective.”=
Johnson integral to fortunes
It’s been a whirlwind season for the left-sided player who was banished from first-team training by Xisco Munoz.
It must be nice for Johnson to be playing regular football for Wednesday at Hillsborough again after being on the sidelines.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Johnson given that he’s now a regular under Danny Rohl.
Johnson has been class when he’s been called upon and hopefully, the football club can now tie him down to a new deal.
