Brentford are taking a look at former Sheffield Wednesday trialist Jesurun Uchegbulam, a source has told SWN.
Uchegbulam, who plays for non-league Mossley, spent time with the Owls in October and November and appeared for the Under-23s in a 3-0 defeat against Barnsley.
Wednesday’s decision-makers were expected to meet in early December as they weighed up offering a full-time contract.
But a move to Hillsborough failed to materialise for reasons unknown.
Uchegbulam, a quick and skilful winger, has continued to impress for Mossley in the meantime.

And Brentford have now been alerted to the teenager’s talent.
The promotion-chasing Championship side took Uchegbulam to Cyprus with them on Monday, where he played the final 30 minutes of Brentford B’s 6-0 win against Pafos.
He is due to spend the rest of the week with the Bees, after which it is hoped that a decision will be made regarding his future.
Uchegbulam would link up with Paris Maghoma – the brother of ex-Owl, Jacques – if he moved to Brentford.
Another new signing and a very warm Seel Park welcome to Jesurun Uchegbulam.
College student Jesurun is 17 years old and plays on either wing.

Wednesday have already handed deals to three young trialists – Osaze Urhoghide, Manuel Hidalgo and Ryan Galvin – since last summer.
