Dom Howson has questioned Xisco Munoz’s handling of this Sheffield Wednesday player after today’s game vs Hull City.
Sheffield Wednesday earned yet another huge win in the Championship after beating Hull City 3-1 at Hillsborough this evening.
The Owls scored through Marvin Johnson, Djeidi Gassama, and Josh Windass, with 10-man Hull scoring a late consolation from the penalty spot.
Danny Rohl now finds his side just three points from safety after back-to-back wins in the Championship and after both Huddersfield Town and QPR lost today.
It was another commendable team performance from the Owls and another game where the 33-year-old Johnson shone.

After Johnson netted an impressive opener for the Owls, his third goal of the season since coming back int the fold under Rohl, journalist Dom Howson gave his verdict.
He posted on X, criticising former boss Xisco Munoz who’d ousted Johnson from the first-team.

Right now, all the focus and all the hype seems to be around Rohl ushering in the net generation of Sheffield Wednesday stars.
Bailey Cadamarteri is obviously the standout, but names like Anthony Musaba and Gassama have also impressed in recent weeks, with more youth players looking set to make an impression on the first-team in the coming weeks and months.
But Johnson’s initial return to the side under Rohl and recent impressive form goes to show that Sheffield Wednesday still need that bit of experience in the side.
At 33 years old, Johnson has been there and done that, but he only seems to be getting better with age.
He was a key component of Wednesday’s promotion-winning season last time round featuring 44 times in League One, and now in 11 Championship appearances this season, he’s scored three times from the left side of the pitch.
Johnson has been deployed as both a left-back and as a left-winger and whenever he’s played, he’s looked dangerous, and this new attacking system under Rohl seems to be uncovering an eye for goal that we didn’t know Johnson had.
Another huge win for the Owls today, ahead of an FA Cup clash vs Cardiff City this weekend.
