What Danny Rohl has said about Sheffield Wednesday talent Pierce Charles
Well, it appears that the talented teenager will get the chance to stake his claim for a place tomorrow night.
The Owls face Coventry looking to gain revenge for last weekend’s defeat in the Championship to the same opposition.
Rohl has confirmed that Cameron Dawson has picked up an injury in training – ruling him out of tomorrow’s game.
The head coach told the club’s media team: “We have a new injury with Cameron, he picked up the injury in the week, so we have to look to another goalkeeper for this game.
“James cannot play as he has already played in the cup. Pierce has trained ever since I arrived.

“Football can move fast, I was asked recently if he is going on loan, tomorrow he will play in the starting XI but we are convinced about him.
“He is ready for the moment.”
Charles signed for the Wednesday youth system from Manchester City and is rated very highly around Hillsborough.
Now, he will get his chance to shine between the posts.
Charles will hope to grasp golden opportunity
With James Beadle currently cup-tied, Charles is the next man up from a Wednesday perspective between the posts.
The Owls starlet spent a number of weeks training with the senior ranks at Wednesday during pre-season.
He got the chance to feature in a couple of the friendlies and didn’t disappoint.
Now, he will get the chance to stake his claim for a place in tomorrow’s FA Cup clash, with Wednesday eyeing a place in the last 16.
Charles will be under no pressure with Wednesday not having a deal to lose in the FA Cup.
The game comes as a bit of a free hit and it will be fascinating to see how Charles performs between the posts.
