Sheffield Wednesday were denied all three points in their clash with Swansea City on Friday afternoon.
The Owls took on Luke Williams’ side at Hillsborough, looking for what would have been a key win in the battle to avoid relegation.
Things were going well for Danny Rohl‘s men, as they took the lead through Bailey Cadamarteri shortly before half time.
However, the visitors hit back with around 15 minutes of normal time remaining. Jamal Lowe was able to fire home from a corner, which was enough to ensure both sides settled for a point in a 1-1 draw.
That means Sheffield Wednesday remain 23rd in the Championship table. However, they are only behind 21st placed Birmingham City on goal difference.
Now it seems as though the events of the match, have left Cadmarteri with rather mixed feelings.
Bailey Cadamarteri reacts to Swansea City draw
Having got himself on the scoresheet, Cadamarteri continued his impressive breakthrouh season for the Owls here.
The 18-year-old now has four goals in 20 Championship games for Sheffield Wednesday this season.
However, he was understandably keen for his side to claim all three points here as well. Taking to Instagram to reflect on the game, Cadamarteri said:
Among those to react to that post was the striker’s Sheffield Wednesday teammate Bambo Diaby, who posted the following string of emojis in response: 🤜🏿🤛🏼💪🏿💪🏿.
Next up for the Owls is a trip to The Riverside Stadium to face Middlesbrough on Monday afternoon.

A tough result for Sheffield Wednesday
You certainly can’t blame Cadamarteri for his reaction to the way things played out on Friday afternoon.
A player is always going to enjoy scoring goals, especially when they are a young attacker making their way in the game, such as the 18-year-old.
The more he does this, the more he will feel he is justifying being given the opportunity he has got this season.
So far he is certainly doing that so he ought to be brimming with confidence from a personal perspective.
Sheffield Wednesday will hope that allows him to kick on with some more big contributions between now and the end of the campaign.
It could also be argued that a point is not a bad one, to at least start something of a recovery after back to back defeats.
But given the way the game played out against a Swansea City side with little left to play, Sheffield Wednesday may still feel this is a big opportunity for a key win they have missed.
