Sheffield Wednesday star Anthony Musaba has explained the four players who have helped him settle at Hillsborough. Three of the players are unsurprising in the slightest but one might come as a huge shock.
Musaba arrived at Wednesday in the summer from Monaco. Despite his tender age of 22-years-old, he’s quite well travelled and has also played for Vitesse, Cercle Brugge, Heerenveen and NEC Nijmegen.
The Owls are in a perilous state at the moment. Wednesday have appointed Danny Rohl as their manager but ultimately they are nine points adrift of safety at the bottom of the table.
Musaba names four players who have helped him settle
Musaba is settling quite nicely at Wednesday. He’s been in pretty lively form when he’s been called upon and has scored one goal and claimed two assists for the club.
Now, he’s admitted during an interview that four players have helped him settle inside the dressing room. He names the usual suspects and then mentions Jeff Hendrick as a surprise name.
He told The Star: “I think about the experienced players like the captain (Barry Bannan), Josh (Windass), all these players, Jeff (Hendrick), Palms (Liam Palmer). These players have played here for a long time. I’m only saying a few people but as younger guys we learn so much from them. If they say something, we have to listen and follow them.”

The talented youngster was outstanding against Rotherham recently. The challenge for Musaba is to continue improving and hopefully, with more game time he can really start to sparkle.
Rohl has come in and overseen four defeats in five matches. He is learning a lot about his Wednesday team and surely he will start to see Musaba as an integral player.
It’s quite fascinating that he’s named Hendrick in the list of players. He has come in for a lot of criticism for how he’s started his loan at Hillsborough but clearly, the younger players look up to him.
