Another member of the Bruce family could be on the move after Steve's appointment at Sheffield Wednesday

Another member of the Bruce family could be on the move this month.

Sheffield Wednesday have already confirmed Steve’s appointment as manager, and he is due to officially take charge at the end of next week.

But according to the Sun reporter Alan Nixon, Bruce’s son – and the former Owls loanee – Alex, is being looked at by Kilmarnock.

The younger Bruce is currently on the books of Wednesday’s Championship rivals Wigan Athletic, who were beaten at Hillsborough on Saturday.

But he has only played once all season – never in the league – and Nixon claims he will be allowed to leave.

Funnily enough, he could be replaced by a rumoured Sheffield Wednesday target, following reports this week (Nixon again, via his Sun on Sunday column) that Wigan have turned to Alexander Milosevic ahead of a potential free transfer.

According to Fotboll Direkt, the Owls offered a contract to Milosevic, the former AIK centre-back, at the end of last month.
