Sheffield Wednesday boss Danny Rohl is already making some positive changes at the club, it seems.
Rohl is certainly making a good impression in his very early days at Sheffield Wednesday.
The media are speaking positively about him and the news coming out of the club regarding his data analysis of the players and what not, is all very exciting.
And another positive bit of news coming out of the club is Marvin Johnson’s return to the side.
Xisco Munoz had somewhat unfairly banished Johnson from the first-team fold but Rohl looks set to give the versatile wing-back a chance to impress under his watch.
And The Star reporter Joe Crann is saying that another forgotten Sheffield Wednesday man in Ciaran Brennan is set to be given a chance under Rohl.
Crann tweeted:
“Another potentially interesting observation from Röhl’s meeting with the first team today was that Ciaran Brennan was in there as well. Can understand the new #SWFC manager wanting to have a look at him.”
Brennan had played a part in pre-season before injury curtailed his summer. The 23-year-old is yet to be involved in a match day squad this season, following a spell on loan with Swindon Town last time round.
A chance for Brennan at Sheffield Wednesday
Brennan is no longer a youngster at Sheffield Wednesday. He’s 23 years old and he’s lacking in experience, so he really needs to kick on somewhere.
And if he can get his chance at Sheffield Wednesday then it’ll be a great chance for the Irishman to finally show Wednesday fans what he’s capable.
He did well with Swindon last time round but injury once again hampered him.
And credit must go to Rohl for seemingly starting with a clean slate, giving the likes of Johnson and Brennan opportunities that Munoz didn’t.
Sheffield Wednesday take on Watford in the Championship this weekend.
