Sheffield Wednesday lost 3-0 at Swansea City in the Championship on Saturday, in a performance described as ‘truly dire’ by The Star’s Joe Crann.
Sheffield Wednesday are now the only side in the Championship without a win to their name this season.
Swansea’s first win was their win over Wednesday, whilst Middlesbrough beat Southampton on Saturday to leave the Owls in last place of the Championship table.
Xisco Munoz’s side have taken just two points from their opening eight of the season, with the Spaniard now coming under increasing pressure from the Wednesday faithful.

Pol Valentin – 5.5
The summer signing gave away the penalty that opened the scoring; he was eventually brought off after 70 minutes in place of Ashley Fletcher. Valentin gave a good account of himself v Middlesbrough not so much against Swansea.
Jeff Hendrick – 5.5
Hendrick has started every game since his deadline day arrival on loan from Newcastle United, but he’s yet to finish a game.
He failed to do anything much in the game v Swansea City before being brought off for Gorge Byers, who many Wednesday fans think should be starting ahead of the Irishman.
Devis Vasquez – 5.6
AC Milan loan man Vasquez earned high praise i the game v Ipswich Town earlier in the month. He’s a good shot-stopper but on Saturday, he was a bit exposed.
His ball distribution isn’t at a level required for the Championship and he often looked shaky when crosses came into the box.
Juan Delgado – 5.9
Delgado looks like another rather underwhelming summer signing for the Owls. He continues to start under Munoz though, and he’s developing a bad habit for foul throws; needlessly giving away possession of the ball.
Up next for Sheffield Wednesday is a very tough home game v Sunderland on Friday night, with another defeat bound to pile more pressure on the under-fire Munoz.
