Sheffield Wednesday host Preston North End in the Championship this weekend.
Sheffield Wednesday return to Hillsborough tomorrow, where they’ll look to avoid a third-straight defeat in the Championship.
New boss Xisco Munoz has been dealt a tough hand but his side has been boosted by the arrival of Djeidi Gassama on a permanent deal from PSG this week.
The visit of Preston will prove to be another tough one for the Owls, who currently sit in 22nd place of the Championship table after the opening two fixtures.
Sheffield Wednesday team news
Munoz says that Barry Bannan is 100% after the Owls skipper was forced off at half-time of the last outing v Hull City.
Elsewhere, Munoz has also suggested that fellow midfielder George Byers is ready to kick on, after a slow start to the season for the Scot.

Whether or not Gassama plays a part remains to be seen, but we could see the attacker feature on the bench – Momo Diaby could also be in line to make his debut.
Mallik Wilks seemingly remains sidelined after missing the last two.

Owls to line up in something new?
After the Hull game, Munoz suggested that he could switch to a back-five. And given the players at his disposal, that could be a system that works for Wednesday going forward.
Wednesday have some good, experienced options at centre-back and enough options to be deployed in the wing-back areas too.
That just leaves the midfield and attack. Munoz looks settled on a front two and so expect a central, midfield three, with Bannan no doubt set to start, with a few options there to go alongside him – Byers could well come straight into the XI to provide some energy in the middle of the pitch.
Here’s how we expect Sheffield Wednesday to line up v Preston North End tomorrow:
