Danny Rohl‘s side are now 10 points from safety but have a new lease of optimism and confidence as they vie to beat the drop this season.
And up next is a Stoke City side who’ve not win in five, losing their last three and dropping down into 20th place of the table in the process.

The latest injury concern for Sheffield Wednesday is Dominic Iorfa.
The defender was forced off after just a few minutes of the win over Blackburn, and Rohl said ahead of this weekend that the club are awaiting scan results on Iorfa’s injury.
But Rohl also revealed that Pol Valentin and Michael Smith are in contention to return, saying:
“Michael Smith looks well, he trained all week with the team and Pol Valentin is back as well.”
Momo Diaby and Juan Delgado remain longer-term absentees.
How will Danny Rohl line up vs Stoke City?
It’s difficult to suggest any changes to the side that dominated Blackburn Rovers last weekend.
Iorfa will obviously need to be replaced and it seems like Liam Palmer, who has a staggering 409 appearances for the Owls, takes that right-back spot.
Elsewhere, it’ll be interesting to see if Rohl starts Bailey Cadamarteri again; last week was a big one for him and Rohl will be wary of forcing too much on him too soon, but he’s arguably Wednesday’s best no.9 now.
And there doesn’t seem to be any more debate about the goalkeeping spot, for the time being anyway, with Cameron Dawson impressing last week.
Expect Smith and Valentin to start on the bench if they’re fit to join the squad.
