Sheffield Wednesday take on West Brom in the Championship tonight.

Sheffield Wednesday head to The Hawthorns tonight to take on West Brom in the Championship, with Xisco Munoz’s side once again going in search of their first win of the campaign.

The Owls remain bottom of the table after a 3-0 defeat at home to Sunderland last time out, with fans growing alarmingly unsettled at the running of the club.

Owner Dejphon Chansiri is coming under widespread scrutiny and so too is Munoz, who seems to be hanging onto his job at Hillsborough right now.

Who’s out for Sheffield Wednesday?

Munoz said ahead of tonight’s game that Barry Bannan and Josh Windass are doubts, after both missed the last outing vs Sunderland.

Momo Diaby remains a longer-term absentee for the Owls, whilst Mallik Wilks’ return date remains to be seen.

How could the Owls line up tonight?

Changes are certainly needed. Munoz’s team selection continues to baffle but whether or not he sticks with his apparent favourite players, or whether he brings in those with proven experience, remains to be seen.

Expect Devis Vasquez to keep his place in goal, but one change in front of him might be Bambo Diaby coming out after his Sunderland nightmare, in place of Dominic Iorfa perhaps, with Michale Ihiekwe not in contention right now.

Elsewhere, many think starting Djeidi Gassama and Anthony Musaba might give Wednesday some bite in attack, but who might lead the line remains to be seen with Munoz yet to pick a favourite between Lee Gregory and Michael Smith.
