Sheffield Wednesday’s win against Blackburn Rovers on Tuesday night has put them right back in the mix when it comes to the fight for survival in the Championship.
Indeed, the Owls are only four points off of Derby County, and with the Rams facing the Yorkshire club on the final day of the season, Wednesday are just one point away from being in control of their own destiny.
Sheffield Wednesday may well look back at this win against Blackburn as one of the most important results in their history, and there were a number of standout performers.
However, the one man who has earnt the most praise from the fanbase is Joey Pelupessy.

Pelupessy hasn’t been everyone’s cup of tea during his time as a Wednesday player, but against Blackburn he stood up to be counted.
The midfielder didn’t run the show in the middle of the park, but he was aggressive and energetic, with a number of tackles and interceptions helping the Owls towards a vital clean sheet.
