Some Sheffield Wednesday fans on social media have been reacting to Andre Green’s performance against Middlesbrough.
The Owls didn’t manage to capitalise on another loss for Derby County on Saturday, but there were a couple of positives to take away from their performance, and Green was certainly one of those.
The winger hasn’t really played all that much since arriving in Yorkshire in January, but he got a rare chance to start at the Riverside, and he made the most of his opportunity.
Green won the penalty for Wednesdays only goal and he proved to be a real nuisance for the Boro full-back all afternoon.

Wednesday fans were certainly impressed, waxing-lyrical about the former Aston Villa man on social media.
The Owls have two games left to save their season, and if Green plays like that in both matches, you have to say that Wednesday will have an outside chance of pulling off the great escape.
