Some Sheffield Wednesday fans on social media have been reacting to reports that Fulham, West Brom and QPR are interested in signing Josh Windass.

The attacker hasn’t been amazing this season, but he remains the Owls’ top goalscorer, and he’s clearly caught the eye of other clubs.

There are very few players who Wednesday fans would want to keep after what can only be described as a terrible season, but Windass is certainly one of those.

The attacker can do a job at this level, hence why the likes of Fulham and West Brom, who will likely be planning to compete at the top-end of the Championship next season, want to bring him in.

Understandably, Wednesday fans are keen to keep him at the club, and we can understand why.

If the Owls are to go down this season, Windass would be a real asset in League One, but then again, cashing in on him this summer could give the Yorkshire club the funds needed to assemble a squad capable of competing next season, whichever league they may be in.

Here’s what the Hillsborough faithful have been saying on social media…
