Sheffield Wednesday blew a golden opportunity against Nottingham Forest on Saturday afternoon, and by the time you’re reading this the Owls could be relegated to League One.
Of course, we don’t want that to be the case, but after that performance against Forest, it’s hard to argue that they don’t deserve to go down.
However, even in one of the flattest performances you’re ever likely to see from a team battling for their lives, there was one positive to take away.
Indeed, Wednesday supporters on social media were full of praise for Joey Pelupessy, who put in a solid performance in the middle of the park.

The Dutchman was characteristically energetic and full of drive, and while he couldn’t lead his side to victory, he barely put a foot wrong against the East Midlands outfit.
Pelupessy earnt a lot of praise from fans online, and to be fair, he deserved every bit of it.
