Some Sheffield Wednesday fans on social media have been raving over Jordan Rhodes after his performance against Huddersfield Town.
It was certainly another frustrating day at the office for the Owls as they were denied their first win under Darren Moore, but there were positives to take away from the game.
Indeed, it was another point on the board, which is always handy, and Rhodes put in another stellar performance.
The striker got a fantastic assist for the Owls’ only goal, and if it weren’t for some contentious refereeing, he’d have won a penalty for his side.

This performance comes off the back of a goal against Norwich City, so perhaps it’s something to do with the fact he’s once again turning out against one of his former clubs.
Wednesday have a mountain to climb if they’re going to stay up, but if they are to bridge the gap, Rhodes will be key to that.
Here’s what Owls supporters have been saying on social media…
I agree mate. Rhodes was doing ok holding it up well linking play up getting it out wide . Why change it linked up well for the goal? Windass looked a threat by far our best player going forward for me! Took em off

Only highlight of the last few games is Rhodes, looks to me like he’s got his mojo back. If he’s happy to take a 70% pay cut he could be a big player for us in league one

Taking Rhodes off is a bad move for me. Done well tonight an always likely to score. #swfc

Great finish from Windass, but take a bow Jordan Rhodes. All about the build up and assist from him 👏🏻 #swfc #WAWAW
