Some Sheffield Wednesday fans on social media have been raving over Jordan Rhodes after their win against Barnsley.
It doesn’t take a genius to understand why Owls supporters were going crazy about Rhodes after his performance. After all, It was his two goals that earnt the Yorkshire outfit their first win under Darren Moore.
These are the types of games that Wednesday had to be winning if they were going to stand any chance of staying up, and while survival still seems unlikely, there is now a small light at the end of the tunnel.
If Wednesday are to stay up, performances like this from Rhodes are only going to help their cause.

Rhodes can be lethal at this level, hence why Wendesday paid so much money for him from Middlesbrough, and if he rediscovers the form that he showed before joining the Owls, he could be the man to fire Wednesday to safety.
