Atdhe Nuhiu has never been renowned as the greatest of goalscorers, but his record in the cups must take some beating.
The Kosovan striker’s winner for Sheffield Wednesday at Luton Town on Tuesday night – which secured a meeting with Chelsea in the FA Cup fourth round – was only his third strike all season.

Yet it was his ninth in just 13 starts for the Owls outside of the Championship (compared to 32 in 107 at league level).
And while some may argue that Wednesday have played their fair share of clubs from English football’s lower divisions during Nuhiu’s five-and-a-half-year Hillsborough career, more than half of his cup goals (5) have arrived against second- or first-tier opposition (Manchester City, Burnley, Fulham and Reading [x2]).

With that in mind, Chelsea – who could have Gonzalo Higuain involved – should be quaking in their boots ahead of next Sunday’s tie at Stamford Bridge.
