Some Sheffield Wednesday supporters have their hearts set on a change of manager after the Owls’ slide down the Championship table.
Wednesday were third at Christmas but ended the season in 16th place – enough for sections of the Hillsborough support to lose patience with Garry Monk.
But one name suggested by a handful as a possible Monk replacement may soon be off-limits.

According to Record, Flamengo vice president Marcos Braz was due in Portugal on Thursday for talks with Carlos Carvalhal.
It is claimed the Brazilians have made Carvalhal – who twice led Sheffield Wednesday to the play-offs in his two-and-a-half-years in charge – their primary target to succeed Jorge Jesus.

Jesus delivered the Brazilian title and South America’s Champions League-equivalent trophies last term, earning himself a return to a former club, Benfica.
In doing so, Jesus replaced Carvalhal’s former Wednesday assistant Bruno Lage as boss of the Eagles.

Meanwhile, Carvalhal has taken an unfancied Rio Ave side to the brink of Europa League qualification.
But the 54-year-old is out of contract after Sunday’s season finale, and has already expressed a desire to explore alternative options next season.
Another Brazilian side, Red Bull Bragantino, had a move for Carvalhal blocked by Rio Ave in January, according to The Daily Mirror.
