According to the Daily Mail, reported Sheffield Wednesday target Ahmed Musa is undergoing a medical at West Bromwich Albion ahead of a free transfer move.
The 95-capped Nigeria international is currently without a club.
A report by Football Insider back in November claimed Wednesday were keen on him, while TEAMtalk cited city rivals Sheffield United as also a club monitoring his situation.
Musa was seemingly set to move back to CSKA Moscow earlier this month, but SCORENigeria claimed the player had a change of heart amid Premier League interest.

The 28-year-old will now reportedly join West Brom in their fight for survival.
Musa should still possess plenty of quality. The attacker, who can operate out wide or through the middle, cost Leicester City some £16 million back in 2016.
West Brom are deep in relegation trouble and manager Sam Allardyce will know he needs to pull a rabbit out the hat ahead of deadline to give the Baggies a fighting chance.
Wednesday, meanwhile, are short on attacking options especially in wide areas.
Musa was reportedly a target for former manager Tony Pulis. The Welshman explained during his brief spell in charge how the Owls lacked pace and creativity in counter situations.
Wednesday have strengthened with the arrival of Andre Green. However, the Owls will face a tough ask to preserve their Championship status without another arrival or two.
